I’m a little apprehensive about this, it really doesn’t inspire high build quality because of this, I’m afraid I can accidentally break it. On the opened Preferences box, from the left pane, click to select Hotkeys category. Since I see here that the inner plastic locks onto the potentiometer, I don’t think I managed to turn that (since it would probably break the thing), and instead I turned the outer flexible rubber around the inner rigid plastic. From the displayed list, go to Preferences.

What to do Windows 8 64 bit (not 8.1) Just changed my system specs by the way. After another restart it stops working again. I re-installed the software of the K95 (it first uninstalls the current software automatically) and the wheel worked again. It 99.9 is software related, but couldn't find anything about the scroll. Everything was working just fine but after a restart the volume wheel does nothing at all. I also tried blowing compressed air into the wheel to see if that would help, but no change. With synapse program NOT running: ALL functions of both mice. With synapse software running: two perfectly good Razer mice work perfectly EXCEPT for scroll wheel.

I tried unplugging it, resetting it, updating the firmware and the iCue software, but it still doesn't work. After getting basically a NO HELP email, I started to do more trouble shooting and the bottom line is, the synapse software update broke the scroll wheel function on any of my mice. The other media controls still work though. The scroll shute which winds round the wheel has the effect of keeping the diminishing volume of water up to its work as the scroll in Parker's, and also.

I'm using Surface Pro (5th Generation) with i5 CPU and 8GB RAM. It's been working fine for about a year, now all of a sudden the volume wheel doesn't work. Below is a screenshot I captured when using calculator. When I took it out of the box, it was working fine, but when installing the G-hub software it suddenly stopped working. I can adjust volume this way whenever I put cursor at screen top and scroll the wheel. It has a volume scroll wheel on the left ear, but it doesn't work right now. On my headset, I keep accidentally forcing the wheel when handling the headset, and at one point I turned the wheel ‘up’ beyond its max position. I just joined the Logitech G family and bought a G533 wireless headset. The outside of the wheel seems like some kind of rubber enclosing the inner wheel. From the pictures it seems that the inside of the wheel is some rigid plastic, and it locks onto the potentiometer with those straights sides. For anybody who did this, I’m curious about the wheel.
